LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION, Logistics Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. As the Deputy Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (DAPML) within MSG Logistics, assigned to the Naval Air Traffic Management Systems Program Office (PMA-213) in MSG Logistics, you will be responsible for total logistics management in support of assigned PMA-213 systems.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will develop and review program technical documentation and provide input and direction on logistics/maintenance issues and requirements.
• You will develop and implement maintenance capability establishment as required to support maintenance concepts/requirements to achieve program goals and objectives within budget and life cycle cost.
• You will provide analyses on degraders and data gathered from logistics management information systems in the execution of logistics and program planning documentation.
• You will determine the best approach in planning and expending resources/funding to ensure adequate and affordable logistics support posture.
• You will prepare and maintain logistics documentation for PMA-213 Systems that include Data Management, Maintenance Plans, Level of Repair Analysis, and Logistics Requirements and Funding Summaries.
• You will prepare and/or deliver presentations to customers/stakeholders in order to address support posture and justify logistics requirements/implementation.
• You will prepare Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
• You will assist in the development and management of contract requirements (i.e. Statements of Work (SOW) and contract data requirements) to support systems engineering/acquisition phases.
