PROGRAM MANAGER

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the ACQUISTION PROGRAM MANAGEMENT GROUP of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND.

You will analyze needs and synthesizes requirements information to develop requirements for program initiatives and planning.
You will serve as a key participant in the development of an acquisition strategy that serves as the framework for integrating functional activities essential to the acquisition effort and serves as the basis for specific program management documents
You will identify and plan for personnel and functional management support required to execute the acquisition strategy.
You will direct the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of requirements, fiscal adequacy and planned progress.
You will direct the preparation of documents, specifications, requirements, criteria, and standards that define needs and parameters of the program.
You will identify and defend resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for lifecycle management of the assigned program.
You will provide management direction to all IPT members and to other personnel directly assigned or detailed to support the assigned program.
You will serve as the central point of contact with the program office for all matters concerning the assigned program, establish and maintain relationship both within the organization and with relevant external groups
