AIRCRAFT MECHANIC LEADER

You will serve as a AIRCRAFT MECHANIC LEADER in the AVIATION MAINT/MATERIAL DEPARTMENT of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

You will inspect, analyze, assess and determine the condition of aircraft flight control, hydraulic, pneudraulic, environmental and mechanical system components.
You will perform overhaul, repair, align, test, and diagnose aircraft systems and components while leading a crew within a Cell Based Work Environment (CBWE) in an aircraft production line.
You will provide technical advice and work direction to artisans and answer questions for the supervisor on overall work operations and related problems.
You will collect and provide data for engineering Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and logistics analysis, norms and budget formulation, material forecasting, and workload planning.
You will assure that safety, tool control, foreign object damage (FOD), Hazmat, and housekeeping rules are followed.
You will make detailed safety, static/operational inspections of aircraft system, engine, components and structure, and inspects aircraft condition/performance acceptability for movement flight test.
