LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as the GUNS APML supporting PMA242, Direct and Time Sensitive Strike Program in the SUSTAINMENT GROUP, SUSTAINMENT PROGRAM MANAGEMENT & ANALYSIS DEPT., WEAPONS SUSTAINMENT MGMT DIV.,SUSTAINMENT MGMT BRANCH 1 of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will serve as the primary focal point in support of Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leader and Deputy Program Manager (DPM), for all logistics and maintenance issues with respect to the Aircraft Gun Systems (AGS) program.
• You will provide senior logistics leadership, technical assistance/guidance and direct logistics program management functions for the program office.
• You will manage depot level repairs for all AGS, technical manual updates and distribution, Fleet training requirements, contract development for acquisition efforts, Fleet support requests, and all life cycle sustainment actions.
• You will be responsible for all aircraft gun-mounting systems associated with each unique weapon/platform application, as well as all laser-aiming devices for each configuration and all associated Support Equipment (SE).
