Position Description

You will serve as a Test Mechanic (ALAD) in the FRC Mid-Atlantic of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will read and interpret blueprints and sketches to accomplish assigned aircraft launch and recovery equipment (ALRE) tasks.
  • You will use handheld power tools to drill, cut, shape, and prepare parts for installation.
  • You will design, modify, and operate test rigs to meet test requirements of aircraft launch and recovery equipment (ALRE) systems.
  • You will install and inspect aircraft launch and recovery equipment (ALRE) systems and components for wear.
