SECURITY SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the CORPORATE BUSINESS & ANALYSIS GROUP, SECURITY DEPT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE, located in China Lake, CA or Point Mugu, CA.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will provide essential daily security support across a broad spectrum of functional areas, including communications security, information security, physical security, personnel security, and general security administration.
• You will analyze and research complex security issues, identify effective solutions, and communicate these solutions clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• You will provide security support and maintain accurate access control logs for certified spaces, ensuring only authorized personnel have access.
• You will report all security incidents and electronic spillages, initiate immediate containment actions and gather all necessary information for a Command Preliminary Inquiry.
