IT SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as a IT Specialist in the Corporate Business & Analysis Group, Digital, Information Technology, Analysis & Cyber Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will plan executes, and recommends actions under general direction from program leadership while exercising independent judgment.
• You will oversee the day-to-day technical operation, maintenance, and security of the program’s IT architecture and cybersecurity strategies, and recommends solutions to program leadership regarding technical and/or organizational challenges.
• You will maintain consistent, clear, and continuous communication with all team members and leadership, identifying areas of risk or concern early and often.
• You will direct and mentor a diverse team specializing in configuration and data management (CDM), facilities management, network administration, system administration, information security, COMSEC, and high performance computational engineering.
• You will plan , prioritize, and coordinate work assignments for the team based on program priorities, and collaborates with other teams to ensure requirements are accurately captured and products are delivered on schedule.
