PROGRAM ANALYST

Position Description

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT GROUP, WEAPONS & ENERGETICS DEPT, WEAPONS & ENERGETICS SAFETY & OPS DIV, ENERGETICS BUSINESS OPERATIONS BR of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will analyze data, evaluate and interpret the findings, develop constructive conclusions and recommendations regarding appropriate procurement path.
• You will initiate acquisition decisions on research findings supporting the high priority projects for the Weapons and Energetics department, Project Managers, and engineers in defining and meeting resource needs.
• You will conduct and review market research, acquisition strategy and plan for a variety of procurement requirements.
• You will administer purchase orders/delivery orders in an advisory capacity for complex and difficult orders, including purchase orders up to $25,000 and delivery orders in excess of $100,000.
