AEROSPACE ENGINEER

Position Description

You will serve as an AEROSPACE ENGINEER (Structural - Stress Analyst) in the FLEET SUPPORT TEAM (FST) DEPARTMENT of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHEAST (Cecil Commerce Center)

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will plan, coordinate, and/or conduct and solve engineering issues requiring substantial analysis and evaluation of causes, effects and alternatives.
• You will evaluate any significant situations that arise and take appropriate planning steps to initiate prompt responsive action.
• You will provide technical professional expertise and oversight to ensure the latest advancements in engineering technology are considered and implemented in work planning.
• You will maintain effective communication with superiors, peers and subordinates throughout the NAVAIR TEAM, other government agencies and private industry regarding various engineering issues.
