INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER

Position Description

You will serve as an AEROSPACE OR MECHANICAL ENGINEER Propulsion Systems Branch Head in the Adversary Fleet Support Team (FST) within the FST Group of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for day to day technical and supervisory (performance, selections, discipline, and training) oversight of all branch/subordinate level engineers and related technical support personnel as assigned by the FST.
• You will investigate, research, and determine applicability of major modifications for the program.
• You will be responsible for financing the FST branch assigned resources regarding training, workload execution, workload prioritization, and capabilities development for multiyear projections.
• You will manage the requirements for qualified personnel, processes, facilities, and ensures training/requirements are translated into sound engineering products.
• You will monitor performance of engineering technical analyses, engineering investigations, economic analyses and support services provided directly to the operational community.
• You will ensure industrial planning and support of platform systems, components, and field team work/maintenance is accomplished efficiently.
