SUPERVISORY AEROSPACE ENGINEER

Position Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Aerospace Engineer in the F/A-18 Fleet Support Team, Structures Engineering Division, and Production Line Support Branch of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will perform extensive and varied combinations of duties associated with complex aviation systems and associated subsystems.
• You will apply progressive working knowledge of guides, precedents, methods, techniques, and practices as well as innovative processes in order to provide team guidance in resolving aerospace engineering problems.
• You will perform supervisory and administrative responsibilities for assigned subordinates.
• You will oversee project management to meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements for major aviation program.
• You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
