LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Position Description

YOU WILL SERVE AS A LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST IN THE MISSIONS SYSTEMS GROUP, LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT OF NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. This position supports the Airborne Electronic Attack program office (PMA-234) as the Next Generation Jammer-Low Band (NGJ-LB) Deputy Assistant Program Manager, Logistics (DAPML). Incumbent is accountable to the MGJ-LB APML, IPTL, and PMA-234 PSM for all logistic requirements for this system. The NGJ-LB program is a fast-paced, early development Major ACAT I program.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will assist in the development and management of contract requirements (i.e. statements of work and contract data requirements) to support systems engineering/acquisition phases.
• You will process the Procurement Initiation Document (PIDs) for procurement of hardware/software, labor and technical assists as required.
• You will apply logistics principles and practices to ensure the total integration of product support elements to meet program requirements.
• You will conduct Performance Based Assessments for the operation and maintenance of appropriate elements of the aircraft/modification programs.
• You will provide analyses and develop strategy for systems/sub-systems lifecycle support for Obsolescence and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) challenges to logistically sustain platform to sundown projections.
• You will prepare and/or deliver presentations to customers/stakeholders in order to address support posture and justify logistics requirements/implementation.
