Computer Engineer

Position Description

Designing and implementing Software Defined Radio algorithms, including modulation / demodulation of various RF jamming techniques, spreading / de-spreading codes, Forward Error Correction codes, shaping and filtering, up sampling and decimation. Develop software and firmware to implement and validate the above algorithms on embedded electronics (FPGAs, SDRs, Real-time systems) with an understanding of design constraints necessary to work within specific hardware. Optimize algorithms to fit within resource constrained Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA), or processing constrained general purpose processors. Utilizing RF test equipment to verify algorithm performance implemented in hardware. Develop and conduct tests and verification of integrated systems including test set software development.
