Position Description

You will serve as a Production Controller in the Voyage Repair Team of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will analyze current production project methods for safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance.
  • You will monitor production operations to determine if production is proceeding according to schedule.
  • You will analyze technical data, standards, instructions, or directives to develop complete production schedules and requirements.
  • You will analyze production requirements to establish effective production control for aircraft and related systems or components.
