SUPERVISORY AIRCRAFT EXAMINER (GENERAL)

Position Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY AIRCRAFT EXAMINER (GENERAL) in the MRO PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT, PRODUCTION LINES DIVISION, FLIGHT LINE AIRCRAFT SYSTEM EXAMINATION AND EVALUATION BRANCH of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the management of the PROPS Aircraft Integrated System Examination and Evaluation Branch.
• You will coordinate the work of several aircraft trades in readying aircraft for flight inspection.
• You will develop, implement, and coordinate rework requirements while evaluating and controlling the extent of the rework.
• You will analyze malfunctions and determine if adjustment, repair, or replacement is required.
• You will prepare required reports, initiate correspondence, and prepare replies regarding assigned program functions.
• You will monitor and ensure compliance with subordinate staff certification and license requirements.
• You will perform supervisory and administrative action items in support of agency mission and objectives.
