Position Description

This position is to support Combat Survivability efforts supporting multiple fixed-winged, rotorcraft and weapons program offices. Position Duties/Responsibilities

• This position provides independent technical engineering support for combat survivability activities across assigned NAVAIR programs.
• The incumbent may support fixed-wing aircraft, rotary-wing aircraft, and weapon systems throughout various phases of the Department of War (DoW) acquisition lifecycle.
• The incumbent applies professional engineering judgment to plan, execute, assess, and communicate combat survivability analyses, test activities, technical products, and program recommendations.
• This engineer independently performs assigned work with minimal oversight; leads discrete technical efforts; supports project planning and resourcing; and provides technical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior engineers.
