INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER

Position Description

You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER in the MISSION SYSTEMS GROUP, AVIONICS ENGINEERING DEPT., CORE AVIONICS ENGINEERING DIV. of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will provide subject matter expertise for communications and data link capabilities for local, joint, and fleet stakeholders.
• You will provide system engineering for assigned aviation systems.
• You will function as a project lead, team lead, or member of an integrated team/group providing technical guidance to a technical workforce and meeting customer requirements for associated aviation systems, products, and/or services.
• You will engage in collaboration with DoD enterprise stakeholders, coordinating cooperative program planning and prototyping efforts with other Naval Warfare Centers and DoD/intelligence agencies, and executing basic and applied research.
