LEAD SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as a Lead Supply Management Specialist (Inventory Auditor) in the INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY DIVISION, MRO LOGISTICS DEPT of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will lead the physical inventory accuracy program, develop annual and quarterly audit plans, refine audit methodologies, and coordinate schedules with various internal departments
• You will analyze systemic issues affecting inventory accuracy, evaluate internal controls, and develop corrective action plans to address deficiencies.
• You will prepare and submit formal audit reports, brief leadership on findings, and serve as a subject matter expert on inventory accuracy and internal controls.
• You will lead a team to perform physical inventories, location audits, and condition assessments of materials.
• You will investigate and reconcile complex discrepancies between physical counts and Navy ERP (SAP) records.
