Position Description

This position is established in the USMC Light/Attack Helicopter Program Office (PMA-276), under the Program Executive Officer, AIR, ASW, and Special Mission Programs (PEO(A)).You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER, H-1 Air Vehicle and Engines Team Level 2 (IPT) Lead.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will analyze needs and synthesize requirements information to develop requirements for program initiatives and planning.
  • You will direct the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of requirements, fiscal adequacy, and planned progress.
  • You will identify and defend resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for life-cycle management of the assigned program.
  • You will assure proper training for each team member.
  • You will serve as the central contract point within the program office for all matters concerning the assigned program.
  • You will establish and maintain relationships both within the organization and with relevant external groups.
  • You will be responsible for all matters related to H-1 capability upgrades, reliability design initiatives, and support as required to the Capability and Combat Relevance IPT Lead in ensuring capability relevance.
  • You will address emerging threats of the H 1 weapons system throughout its operational service life.
