You will serve as a Machinist in the Voyage Repair Team of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER.

You will machine surfaces at unusual or compound angles and set up and operate conventional, computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, milling machines, vertical and horizontal mills, radial drills, thread grinders, and lathes.
You will to determine speeds, feeds and coolants, lubricants or abrasives to be used to cut, turn or finish an item.
You will operate computer numerically controlled machine tools for jobs.
You will utilize precision measuring devices such as vernier calipers, inside and outside micrometers, height gages, squares, surface gages, dial indicators, etc. and interpret blueprints, sketches, and schematics.
