You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (AIRCRAFT) in the Safety and compliance Directorate of FRC WESTPAC DET IWAKUNI.

You will provide responsive depot level maintenance, quality airframes, support equipment overhaul and In-Service Repairs (ISR) to Forward Deployed U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aircraft ashore and afloat.
You will be responsible for Quality Assurance inspections, Job Task Lists, Work Order reviews, Type l verifications local and abroad, and managing QA responsibilities on a depot Integrated Maintenance Program line.
You will perform a variety of duties with the planning, developing, maintaining and improving effective Quality and Reliability Activities associated with depot level maintenance, overhaul, modification, and manufacture of complex air weapon systems.
You will recommend and initiate modifications to improve the efficiency and effectiveness.
You will identify and write Local Command Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures as needed in order to support the line.
You will ensure contractor compliance with all requirements related to the design, manufacturing, repair overhaul, an modernization for a variety of items for customer activities.
You will determine root causes of defects or deficiencies, provide immediate and long term corrective action, and provide response to the Quality Deficiency Reports.
You will conduct product, process, program, and system audits to determine compliance with applicable instructions and directives.
You will review technical data and work specifications for adequacy and compatibility with quality requirements.
